Vikings (7-7) host the Rams (10-4) Week 16 Preview

This is a big game for both teams. The Vikings need to keep winning in order to stay in the lead for the 7th playoff spot and a Rams win would put them in first place in their division. The Vikings will be without Dalvin Cook, but the running game should still be able to play well with Mattison as the lead back. Adam Thielen is set to return to the lineup and I think it is going to be a shootout. This game will come down to the trio of WRs on both sides of the ball: Jefferson/Thielen/Osborn vs Kupp/Jefferson/Beckham. Mike Zimmer has had plenty of years to gameplan against Stafford during his time with the Lions and should be able to figure out at a way to rattle him enough. Both defenses let up a lot of yards/game, and the Rams defensive line is mean. Cousins will need to figure out a way to not get hit and risk hurting his ribs any further.

I think this is going to be a high scoring game with plenty of lead changes throughout, but the Vikings (3 point underdogs) will come out with a MUCH NEEDED victory 34-31. My brother, Justin is predicting a 33-31 victory for the Vikings. Both QBs are career .500 QBs and since the Rams have the better record at the moment, I think the Vikings win this matchup. The Vikings are usually better at home behind their solid home field advantage. Come on Vikings, win the stupid game! If the Vikings score more points than the Rams, then the Vikings will win the game.
